And she's getting all her Easter Eggs into her basket. Yes, the eggs are all wool applique. The grass in the basket is also a fun project for the little ones - line a basket and fill with vermiculite and spread some organic whole wheat on top with water. In just 4-5 days and good light the grass will be sprouting! Enough time to make those adorable wool eggs!
The bright Spring colors have been very popular and are finding their way into many projects in the Eyeful of Wool universe. But Tina is creating once again! Primitive colors for the traditional wool enthusiasts are here! More on the way - is there a special color YOU need?
Here's a neat idea to welcome visitors - hang a seasonal piece that brings a smile to anyone coming by.
Tina's has put together a beautiful combination of wool colors very close to the picture on the pattern. Still in process - the pieces are pinned on (using Tina's favorites, Clover Applique pins), and being sewn using a blanket stitch and the fabulous wool threads from Gentle Arts. Finished size of the heart is 21" X 16" and the overall project is 30" X 24". Tina has yet to decide if it will be finished as a hanging, a runner or a pillow...probably a pillow.
This project was just completed today! Tina adapted a pattern called Little Bits by Cindi Edgerton for a paper piece pattern to a Wool Applique project measuring approx. 78" X 34". Tina created the ornaments and added them as well. You can do this too! Wool is so fun!
